Storm & Impact Damage Repair
Hail, wind, hurricanes and vehicle strikes can damage storefronts, windows and doors in seconds. We secure the building, document every bit of damage for insurance and replace what was broken.
What happens when you call
Call any time
Tell us what broke, how big the opening is and whether the space is secure. A crew is dispatched to make it safe.
Secure the opening
Broken glass is removed and the opening is boarded up or temporarily glazed so the business is protected tonight.
Measure and replace
The opening is measured, permanent glass is ordered to size, and we come back to install it. Photos are provided for insurance.
Storm damage is often worse than it looks
After a storm, the shattered lites are obvious. Less obvious are lites with chips and bruises that will crack later, insulated units whose seals were broken by impact and will fog in coming weeks, dented frames and mullions, bent doors and damaged hardware, and sealant joints torn by flexing. A complete inspection catches all of it so the insurance claim covers the full scope.
Our storm response
- Secure broken openings with board-up or temporary glazing
- Inspect every lite, frame, door and seal on the affected elevations
- Photograph and measure all damage and prepare a written scope
- Work with your adjuster on the scope and pricing
- Order and install permanent glass, doors and frame parts
Vehicle impacts
Vehicles that hit storefronts damage glass, frames, doors and often the structure around them. We secure the opening, assess the storefront system and coordinate with the general contractor or structural engineer when the building itself was damaged. Bollards in front of vulnerable storefronts are worth considering after an incident.
Upgrades after a storm
Replacing storm-damaged glass is a chance to upgrade. In hurricane regions, impact-rated systems remove the need for shutters. In hail country, laminated or heat-strengthened outer lites resist damage better. We explain what upgrades the code requires and which are optional.

Storm & Impact Damage Repair questions
Do not see your question? Call and talk to a glazing specialist.
Will you document storm damage for my insurance?
Yes. We photograph and measure every damaged component and provide a written scope.
Why did my glass fog weeks after a hailstorm?
Impact can break the insulated unit’s edge seal without breaking the glass. It is storm damage and should be included in the claim.
Can you repair storefronts hit by vehicles?
Yes. We secure the opening and repair or replace the storefront, coordinating with others for structural damage.
Should I upgrade glass after a storm?
In hurricane regions impact-rated glass is often required or worthwhile; in hail regions stronger glass resists damage. We explain the options.
