Glass in the build-out
On a tenant improvement, interior glass is one of the last trades in and one of the most visible. It is measured from finished framing, fabricated to size and installed just before move-in, so it is easy for glass to become the item that delays the schedule. We coordinate with the general contractor early on head and floor details, blocking and lead times, and field measure as soon as framing allows.
Privacy, acoustics and code
Interior glass has to balance openness with privacy and sound control. Frosted and gradient films, switchable glass, acoustic laminated glass and sealed doors give tenants what they need. All interior glass in doors and hazardous locations is safety glass, and fire-rated walls get fire-rated glass and frames.
