Glass Office Fronts
Glass office fronts bring daylight into the floor plate and give an office a modern, open feel while keeping private offices private. We install framed and frameless office fronts for office and medical tenant improvements.
Office front options
- Interior aluminum storefront, a slim framed system with glass sidelites and a door, durable and economical.
- Frameless glass fronts with minimal top and bottom channels and frameless or framed glass doors.
- Demountable partition systems that can be reconfigured when the layout changes.
- Sliding glass doors where swing clearance is tight.
Privacy and acoustics
Glass fronts do not have to mean no privacy. Frosted or patterned film, gradient film and switchable privacy glass control sight lines, while laminated acoustic glass, double glazing and sealed frames improve sound separation for offices, exam rooms and conference spaces.
Coordinating with the build-out
Office fronts are measured from finished framing, so they come late in a tenant improvement. We coordinate with the general contractor early on head details, blocking, floor finishes and lead times, then field measure as soon as framing is complete, so glass and doors arrive in time for the move-in date.
Code requirements
Interior glass in doors and next to doors is a hazardous location and must be tempered or laminated safety glass. Doors must meet accessibility requirements for hardware, clearances and closing force. Fire-rated corridors need fire-rated glass and frames. We confirm requirements against the drawings.
