Security & Bullet-Resistant Glass

Some businesses need more than standard glass: banks, pharmacies, cash-handling retail, offices and public buildings. We supply and install forced-entry and bullet-resistant glazing and transaction windows.

Commercial safety glass and glass roof

Levels of protection

  • Laminated glass resists smash-and-grab and delays forced entry.
  • Multi-layer security glazing of glass and polycarbonate resists sustained forced-entry attacks.
  • Bullet-resistant glazing tested and rated to recognized ballistic standards, from handguns up to higher-powered rifles.
  • Polycarbonate sheet for high-impact resistance at light weight.

The frame matters as much as the glass

Rated glass in an ordinary frame does not give rated protection. Bullet-resistant and forced-entry rated installations require frames, anchors and in some cases wall armoring rated to the same level, so there are no weak points around the glass. We supply complete rated assemblies where a rating is required.

Transaction windows and pass-throughs

Banks, pharmacies, check-cashing stores, gas stations and reception areas often use transaction windows with deal trays, speak-through devices and pass-throughs. We install rated transaction windows and the counters and trays that go with them.

Choosing the right level

Higher ratings mean thicker, heavier and more expensive glazing. The right level depends on the actual threats the business faces. We discuss the risks with the owner and security consultant and recommend glazing that protects without over-building.
