Commercial Mirrors

Gyms, studios, salons, restrooms and retail fitting rooms all depend on well-installed mirrors. We cut, install and replace commercial mirrors of every size, with safety backing and secure mounting.

Glass walls in a commercial office

Where we install mirrors

  • Fitness centers and gyms, including full-wall mirrors in workout areas
  • Dance, yoga and martial arts studios
  • Restrooms, including accessible mirror heights
  • Salons and barbershops
  • Retail fitting rooms and display areas
  • Hotel lobbies, elevator cabs and hospitality spaces

Safety and mounting

Large commercial mirrors in gyms and public spaces should have safety backing film, which holds the pieces together if the mirror breaks, or be made from tempered or laminated mirror where the risk is high. Mirrors are mounted with mirror mastic compatible with the backing, plus J-channels, clips or full perimeter frames, so they stay secure on walls that take impacts and vibration.

Wall preparation

Mirrors show every wave in the wall behind them. Walls need to be flat and sound, and seams on large walls need to be planned so joints fall in sensible places. We check the walls before measuring and plan the layout so seams are tight and straight.

Accessible restroom mirrors

Accessibility standards limit how high the bottom of the reflecting surface can be above the floor in restrooms. We install restroom mirrors at compliant heights.
